The STERLING® COILMASTER JR. PLUS is an automated, tabletop plastic spiral binding machine, designed for efficient and high-quality binding. It inserts plastic spirals starting from the first hole, with automatic cutting and crimping functions. This compact unit is cost-effective and capable of binding books ranging from 8 mm to 30 mm in thickness, with a production speed of up to 600 books per hour. The newly added in-feed conveyor also enables seamless in-line binding with a coil former.

The machine accommodates books of any pitch, with both round and oval holes, and offers flexible margin settings up to 3/8” (9.5 mm). Users can adjust punch pins before punching and center sheets for precise results. It can bind books of various lengths between 4” (102 mm) and 14” (356 mm), offering versatility beyond standard sizes. The criss-cross combs ensure stable coil insertion from both the front and rear, while the crimping knives provide a secure, 90-degree crimp.
